The voice creates
sounds in
human beings using the
vocal folds for
talking,
singing,
laughing,
crying,
screaming, etc. The human voice is specifically
that part of human sound production in which the vocal
folds (vocal cords) are the primary sound source.
Each child has a unique voice, sounds unique to their being. At Sacred Artist Within we encourage each and everyone child to find their inner voice.
In our Engish selection, we offer this through dramatic arts. Drama is often combined with music and dance and is a great way for children to express their voice, vision and unique talents.
In improvisation, the drama
does not pre-exist the moment of performance; performers
devise a dramatic script spontaneously before an audience.
Acting is the work of an actor or actress, which is a person in theater, television, film or any other storytelling medium who tells the story by portraying a character and, usually, speaking or singing he written text or play.
Acting can teach children team building skills and other cooperative learning models.
